Character Modelling
Considering how I have always been a fan of MechWarrior since playing it on the PSOne, it seemed only natural to let those interests take over when I was asked to design and model a character for my Introduction to Maya course. Since we will be working with our character all semester I wanted to make sure I had fun building the model and would enjoy texturing and animating it in the future

One of the recommendations in the project handout suggested making the character either more robotic or organic. While it seems pretty clear my character is robotic I wanted to blur the distinction a bit.

This assignment has probably been one of my favorites so far. I look forward to developing this character further and bringing it to life with some of Maya’s awesome lighting and animating effects, so check back later for more updates!

This is awsome. You guys are going to bring new life to the design world. Keep up the hard work and it’s obvious that the sky is not the limit, it’s your imagination.
